Yeah that would be a funky affect that i could use on a site I'm developing.

Have been able to find this, though haven't really looked into how it works or how to implement it with Mambo - only just found it a few days ago.

Go to the demo page and view the page source to see the code.

Stingrey,
That'd be a GREAT addition to a Mambo template!
Wish I knew more about coding OR had the time right now to learn...

this can be done directly in mambo

First make sure that expanding menus is selected

Site modules --> [menu name] --> "expand Menu:" set to yes

then add all the pages you want into your menu

go to: menu --> [menu name] and select a sub-item

where it says "Parent Item" it will be set to "Top". change this to what ever menu this item should come under.

save and your done

Hi Aaron! Welcome to Mambo and Mambers!!
Thanks for your input on this, but I don't think you quite grasped what we're looking for...

What you suggested would cause all submenus & sub-submenus to always be displayed. What we were desirous of was a little jscript/dhtml coding that would allow our menus to expand/contract as desired so a person could drill down the menu without necessarily loading the topmost menu selection. As you'll see in the example links above, the menu would stay contracted until clicked on & then the appropriate submenu would open up allowing a broader range of choices.

If you know a way of accomplishing this within Mambo & the existing framework, please let us know. Thanks again for your desire to help.
