Default Wyswig Editor -> Unable to see buttons on Mac

I am having problems with a Mac as opposed to a PC. On the PC the text editor shows with buttons for bold, hyperlink, insert image etc. But on the Mac that is not there, it only gives the option of html.
Is this standard or is there a setting change which must be enabled. It is a Powerbook G4 with OSX and has the choice of IE, Safari and Navigator.
Thanks.

It has to do with the browser and the online html editors...
Try a few of the browsers on Mac.

After that:
You can choose to use some of the other editors that come with Mambo...

Thanks, I've tried the other browsers but the problem remains, where do I find the other Mambo editors?

Some come standard in the latest version, others need to be installed maunally. You will need to choose the defualt in your configuration.php file.

I don't think there is a setting to change that. As a mac user I have been using Mambo for a year and I have never seen those buttons you are talking about. But I can be wrong.

I have use Explorer, Safari and Camino but FireFox works better for me. If you find the buttons let me know.

I'm going to check on a PeeCee tomorrow.

I totally agree. I just force fed Firefox to all my users at work, and the web whines have all but ceased to exist.
