Default How do I add extensions to my mos site Directory using .htaccess?

Hi there

I want to be able to set up extensions for macromedia authorware.

I am aware that this can be done by adding them to and using .htaccess but don't know the code to do this.

the extensions i want to add are

x-authorware-bin .aab
x-authorware-map .aam
x-authorware-seg .aas

I know this can be done using a DirectAdmin Control Panel and though I have tried this I cannot restart the server, so I'm not sure if its working ? ,,,,Thats why I want to try the .htaccess route.

Thanks, Wooly

Thumbs up Re: How do I add extensions to my mos site Directory using .htaccess?

Bennie

I found out what to do

just add the lines in .htaccess

I added these for the following types aab, aam, aas

#added mime types
AddType application/x-authorware-bin .aab
AddType application/x-authorware-map .aam
AddType application/x-authorware-seg .aas

If you know which files your applcation uses then its that easy
