Not that I know of. Were you looking at people being able to download them too or just listen to them?

I use the musicplayer on my site which allows you to upload 12 and your visitors to play them (but not download), but it is manual add of the file details in the set up.

Available from the developer at this site.

Hope this helps somewhat..

I am finishing up a new Mambo component that may do what you are looking for. It is my first component, but seems to be up and working for our site okay. I would like to add some more Admin functionality before I put it out for generic public consumption.

The component is for our church's site to display id3 info from mp3's of sermons which are contained in a specified directory. This allows me to just upload an MP3 file by FTP and it is automatically shown in the listing. I coded in an option for setting a maximum size of the directory and deleting off old MP3's to make space for new ones. All text displayed is configurable through mammeters.

Anyone interested in previewing it can find it here: http://www.centercrest.org/index.php...ons&Itemid=101

If anyone has comments, suggestions, or would like to help me test it, send me an email: mambodesigns@stanleybusinessservices.com

Thanks!

Brett

This is great, but may I ask how you customized the player? I love the mod but would rather not have the angel background. It's tough with the creator's site being all German so if there's something I'm missing as to how to customize the look of the player, or at least pull out the background as you've done on your site, that'd be very cool!

btw, Eve, I love your site!

Hey Aly thanks

Hmmm angel? I don't remember an angel. Is it on the player itself? The only thing I edited was the musicplayer name as I think it was musikplayer or something originally.

Perhaps it is a later version you have or another altogether?

Sorry can't help you with this one, except to say that the author is a lovely guy, and can manage English quite well (I had to email him for help as well, and he responded very quickly), so give him a try.

good luck!

The requested document was not found on this server, where the flashplayer supposed to be! Isnt it just installing the module? I havnt uploaded any songs yet or changed the playlist. But the player should show or????

Hey Dan

It's been a while since I installed it, but there is a couple of files you need to edit once you have it installed.

One of them is the m2.html which requires you to add your domain in this line:

<EMBED ID="Plugin1" SRC="http://www.your_domain.com/modules/mambox2.swf"

This might solve your problem.

Good luck!

The latest version swf file has an angel background. I will try to contact the developer and see what can be done.

Thanks again for this great tip!
