Default Events v1.0 RC 5e and editor problem

I have Events v1.0 RC 5e installed and have tried fckeditor and htmlarea3_xtd. When attempting to enter an event from the front end, the result is and error "Content item must have intro text".

Is there any way to get the Events to work from the front end without going back to htmlarea2?

Yes, I also have the same problem. People, help us!!!
I really need either fckeditor or htmlarea3 since htmlare2 doesn't have word cleanup and my clients use word a lot.

Question Re: Events v1.0 RC 5e and editor problem

Hmmm, same problem here. Looks like you have to put an extra Cariage-Return/Enter at the end of the text to generate (<p>) paragraph-tags around the text. After that you can save it. Also noticed that changing tot "HTML" view and back does the job too.

I'm using Events v1.0 RC5 Final and Htmlarea3_xtd_C.

Yesss,

Found a solution! Check out this thread: http://mamboforge.net/forum/forum.ph...9&forum_id=296

Put the code in that file, and of you go!
