4.5.1 has me drooling and is clearly the way to go here in the near future. BUT I'm starting a project right now that's going to be fairly involved.

What's everyone's opinion of basing this project on 4.5.1 and upgrading Mambo as I go until the stable version is out? Would it be better to build this out in the current stable and then try to upgrade the whole thing later or go with the beta now?
