Angry ReMOSitory: The Upload Directory is currently full.

Hi All,

I have what seems to be a REALLY strange problem.

I'm using ReMOSitory and when I try to upload a file through the upload interface, I get a "The Upload Directory is currently full." error. The details are as follows:
  • I had been able to upload files. In fact I had uploaded quite a few and suspected that, in fact, the directory reached it's max capacity.
  • I went in to the ReMOSitory config and changed the "Max_Up_Dir_Space:" and the "MaxSize:" to increase the space. I saved the change, went back to check it and it had reverted back to the originally configured size.
  • I then went directly into the config file "com_remository_settings.php" and changed the numbers and saved it back to the server. It too reverted to the original number. (!!!!!)
  • I can FTP files directly to the folder. It is only through the upload feature of the ReMOSitory file manager that it is a problem.
  • My directory limit is in the 2GB range. I'm nowhere near that limit.

I looked at my phpinfo.php file and can't find anything that would be causing this (maybe I'm not sure what I'm looking for?).

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Lynn

How large are the files you are trying to upload?

Hi Aaron,

Thanks for the reply. Late last night, we figured out what the issue was. The "MaxSize" and the "Max_Up_Dir_Space" were set to the exact same size. I'm not sure why this caused an issue, but it did. Changing that (making the MaxSize smaller), allowed us to proceed with our uploads.
