I have Remository 2.02 installed, im using mambo 4.5 Stable-1.0.3.
everything is working, i can publish and upload files but cant download them.
what an I doing wrong?

This is the Error message i get:

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.


Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Your /upload and /download directory must have CHMOD 777 rights.

And check in the Remository config file the path to your /upload and /download dir !

Yes i had the same problems with mriessen, and the configurations and chmod of directory downloads or upload i already change it into 777, the strange problems is :

if the file is outside the directory that i made we can download but if the file is inside the directory / subdirectory it can't downloads

make SURE it's really CHmodded.... I've seen GOOD FTP client progs NOT actually chage the CHmod... use Cpanel and go into file manager

I am having the same. I changed the folder permissions to 777 through Cpanel but I am still getting that error. Any other ideas?

The only reliable way to figure out which of several possibilities is causing the problem is to get to see the server error log. You can access that through CPANEL if that is available. Otherwise, ask your hosting provider. I'd recommend using the latest version of Remository from http://mamboforge.net/projects/remository.

I am unable to set permissions above 0775. Any suggestions? I am admin for site and have unrestricted access. Is is a MySQL adjustment that needs to be made? What am I missing here? Thanks, JedsWeb
