Question AkoLegal Problem

We installed the AkoLegal component and tried inserting it into our site (we have successfully installed other components with no problem).

We have been getting error messages from the AkoLegal component and have been unable to get it to work. The first messages seemed to be due to a case sensitivity issue (we are on Linux), with the scripts looking for "AkoLegal" and the file names being "akolegal". We fixed those issues, but now get the following error:
Warning: main(/var/www/html/newsite/administrator/components/com_AkoLegal/config.akolegal.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/www/html/newsite/components/com_AkoLegal/AkoLegal.php on line 13

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required '/var/www/html/newsite/administrator/components/com_AkoLegal/config.akolegal.php' (include_path='.:/php/includes:/usr/share/php') in /var/www/html/newsite/components/com_AkoLegal/AkoLegal.php on line 13

We are very confused now as to why it is looking for that include_path. Are we missing something simple?

The (include_path='.:/php/includes:/usr/share/php') statement is only PHP telling you what its include path is. This could be a file permission issue, or it is the case of the filenames. I just downloaded the component and as fas as I can see, the code uses lower case filenames. Try changing all the files and folders to lower case and see if that helps.

Thanks for the reply, SvenErik. The problem turned out to be a combination of a newbie error in implementing the component in our template, and the case sensitivity issue.
