Okay - I am confused now.. I have been using 4.5 all
the way up to 4.5 1.09 and looking forward
to Mambo 4.6

I am even using 4.6 CVS that I have downloaded.

What on earth is 4.5 Beta?

In an attempt to ease numbering confusion Mambo will now be on a 4.x.x numbering scheme, starting with 4.5.1 which is an upgrade from 4.5 (1.0.9) to ease the transition to 4.6 and to rebrand as Mambo (instead of Mambo Open Source).

There was often confusion by users as to what version they were using because they did not notice the parenthetical part.

Why didn't they just call it 4.5.2?

Would have reduced confusion all round I'd think.

So, what's the difference between the Mambo Content Management System and Mambo CMS?
