Default OK, I know this is a silly question, but ...

Mamber Folks,

Hey all. OK, I know this is a silly question, but how do you add new pages to a Mambo Site. I've got the program up and running and managed to create a functional template, but I don't understand how to add anything other than the frontpage. I've read the entire manual, checked tutorials, blah, blah, blah, but I just don't get it. I get the impression that it automatically generates the pages from the template, but I'm not sure how to get it to do that.
On a slightly different note (but one that's got me a little nervous) the webpage I'm building will actually be posted in English, Romanian, and Russian (they'll all just be mirrors of each other). When I try to add content in Russian or Romanian the preview of the site just puts out illegible garbage, even when the same language module is loaded into Mambo. Any thoughts as to why?
OK, that's it. Sorry about the first silly question. I have a rule where I have to spend at least 3 days trying to figure out a problem before I post about it; it keeps me from posting to often. I usually figure stuff out on my own within a day or so, but I just don't understand how to create new pages. Thanks much.

Cheers,

Daniel Cruz

no clue about the language problem ...

regarding creating pages you should use the menu manager, main menu and then click "new" on the top of the page ... go on and select what kind of content you'd like to create etc ....

Millo105,

Thanks for the heads up. That's what I thought, but I wasn't able to figure it out. I've got multiple pages up and running now. Thanks again for the heads up.

Cheers,

Daniel Cruz

Hi,
for the problem of the language i don't know what to say ,..

for create a new page, I suppose you are talking about create a new page with text and images, something like a "static" page like "who we are", "maps for find us" and so ... well u must go to:

Main menu -> New -> Type content.

Here you'll find the htmleditor page where you can give a page title, the text and images. After finished to write you must save it and publish it.

You'll find a new menu lik with the name of your page ...

if you need more information (my english is very bad) I'll try to be more clear.

Bye

Michele,

Thanks for the advice; both your and Millo105's advice was quite helpful. And your English is fine. I'm in Moldova right now and I wish my Russian was half as good as your English.

Cheers,

Daniel C
