And the visualtech Theme.

TomT will become famous soon enough
Default Direct Access to this location is not allowed

This is a rather common error but all threads about is seem to run dead, same goes on the Mamboserver forum. Is there really nobody who knows how to fix this problem?

TerryG is an unknown quantity at this point
Default Re: Admin error?

I have had quirky error messages with the editors. Deleting the browser's cached pages sometimes makes things work again.

Unfortunately, this guru is visiting much later than when the postings were originally made in 2004 The same issue is happening periodically now with Joomla.

A friend had the problem tonight with their site, and Google bought up this thread as a place to look, but with no actual resolution. As TomT pointed out, there's not many solutions online.

But to add more to what TerryG posted, clearing the cache does work.

The problem in my friends case was that the poorly coded template XML caused the initial issue, and IE had cached the faulty page. After changing templates it was still cached, and so eventually refreshing the cache flushed it out.

Easiest way to test if it is the case (aside from deleting your temporary internet files straight away) is to load your page in Firefox or another browser, from which the site will load fresh.
