Hi,

don´t know since when but today I figured out that the component Installer isn´t workin anymore and I don´t have a ****in´clue why.

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/www/web2/html/administrator/component_installer.php on line 239

Here are the lines 238 and 239:

$element = &$xmlDoc->getElementByPath('mosinstall/creationDate');
$row->creationdate = $element->getValue();

Any suggestions what I can do?

This is really an anoying problem and I need to get it fixed.

So, here´s the solution.

I tried to install a component by myself anb mambo created an entry in the mos_components table of it. This caused the error. I deleted the entry and the installer works again *gg*

What did you install the last time you used the installer???
I had this problem when i installed mamblog.
After replacing the .xml file it works again.

how did you know what components was the problem
i'm looking through mos_components (phpmyadmin)
how do you know what to deleate

I just remember what i installed before i getting ths problem.
After that i go to http://mambo.theyard.org/ and i ask there the solution...Olle Johansson(maker of mamblog) is really great and give me the support for this problem.
