Default Job posting component/module

Does anyone know of or use a good job posting module or component?

My solution was to use the Mambads component. I edited some of the text so that we have categories for open positions and resumes for the position, rather than the original text. I can be more specific if you'd like. It works well for us as an internal job posting and resume hosting utility.

I used this particular site for our internal corporate intranet. So instead of providing access, I have attached a couple screen shots. As you can see in job1.gif, I've created several categories, but I'm just beginning to add both job positions and resumes. In job2.gif, I've drilled into one of the existing open positions, though I am waiting for the official job description for this particular position to be sent to me. There are still formatting changes I'd like to make, but the structure will function fine for my needs.

If you'd prefer, I can take the modified script and put it on a demo site I have sometime tonight.

email me at d@manyone.net with any questions.

That would be great if you could.

Are you going to release this to the community or release it as a comercial package

Thanks for the images

I've had a go at installing it
http://www.oliverwright.net/mambo1/i...mbads&Itemid=0

It seems that you cannot administer it from the Mambo admin - all seems to be done front end which I don't think will work for me

Do you know if this could be integrated into the mambo backend?

The download I found is at:
http://www.corephp.com/index.php?opt...r&filecatid=15

Thanks

Oliver

I would definitely release it for free, as I have only made small changes to Ralf Windhab's (ralfwin@web.de) nice bit of work.

Yes, the admin is from the front end, though you have to be logged in as an administrator to make any changes. And, the only thing the admin can do is add categories and delete anyone's posting.

You can view it at this test site -- http://intranet.manyone.net/_test
login:demo
pass: demo

click on link "open positions-resumes". Add positions and/or resumes if you'd like to test it out.

Is there a way to set it up so that site users (no logged in) can see the jobs but not post them?
