Default Is there an undisputed "best" HTML editor that works with Mambo?

I've seen that there are quite a few alternative HTML editing interfaces for Mambo (e.g. FCK, HTMLArea 3 xtd, etc.).

Is there a all-round "best" editor that works with Mambo, even if it isn't free? My criteria for 'best' would include better compliancy, better formatting of HTML view (colour coding even), and any other time-saving features.

I suspect the choice of HTML editor might be a religious debate, but just maybe there's a clear winner?

Cheers,
t

I like HTMLArea3 XTD, but there seem to be a few bugs. (works with mozilla, which is nice )

I've been using RTE editor for a little while and I noticed that it seems to have problems on Mozilla 1.6 -- sometimes you can't get a cursor in the first editor field.

Also, I noticed that RTE capitalizes HTML tags like "IMG" and "A", so some CSS styles don't get applied.

Has anyone else noticed these issues? (could you link to the thread if so?)

Or what about the new 'Live data view' in Dreamweaver MX 2004. That sounds good.
