I am using docman 1.2.1 with wysiwygpro2.2.2 and the description for my download files vanishes, is there a problem with docman and html editors?

As an addition to this the licensing also does the same - I cannot create a license with a saved description - is there anybody out there who has a similar problem. I have seen other threads on Docman but my German is non existant and the Docman bugtracker seems unattended

Docman works with htmlarea2. I tried using it with RTE and got same results as you describe. I submitted a bug report to Docman team and got acknowlegement of problem...but guess they have not gotten around to fixing it yet

I am using DocMan 1.3 RC1 in English on Mambo 4.5.2 and I confirm that there is no way of storing some description text together with the uploaded file.

It seems to accept the text but then, when you look at the item, the description is not there.



How can they make such a complex, wonderful tool and forget about these basic things.
