Invision board compatible with mambo?

Hi mambers

I have installed simpleboard in my test site...it works fine,also ...showing
last 5 forum posts ....

But as the forum would be one central place for my membership site I'd like
to look into other option also... invision looks to be a good option,but can it be impleted within mambo? If yes is anyone using Mambo+invision board combination....

From the threads I read phpbb component for mambo does have some problem in admin being locked out at times....what about invision board

Some people said MOS can't work with Invision Board, but it works with VBulletin. Yoiu can see at http://www.mambovb.com

I haven't seen any module / component with which you could implent Invision Board with Mambo, i like the invision board also, but haven't seen any component and that's why i'm using simpleboard now.

I'm just (today) exploring, downloading and preparing to install mambo (very excited, btw) ... but I also am a big fan of IPB and was looking for info on this. It seems there is (or was?) a module in the works? I found it here:

Nothing updated info-wise since April, but I am very hopeful that something will materialize. I'd hate to lose the very active forum I'm running now.

I had read that developer of ipb-mambo integration waits until ipb final version 2.0 will be released.
I am tired to wait, if this solution don't came out I will be very dissapointing.
I have very big board can't go to any other message board script.
