Ok just wondering if this is a bug

i have the latest

events & events calander & latest events

My question when i set recuring events
wich work in this version

in the lastest events module it shows the date that you acualy put the event in.. ie
example

i made an event for april 1st paybills and make it recuring by week day
so evey tuesday it will have event

ok first week goes buy and you get to april first all fine
but once you past april 1st it will show you the following tuesday the 8th
as an event for teh 1st

hope you guys are understading what i am saying kinda wired explaining it

well if anyone else has had this problem please let me know ..

Hi,

I am not sure I understand your description of the problem, so let me explain the problem I have.

I have a recurring event every week. The event is have a meeting each tuesday. On april 1 (let's say that is a tuesday) I have created some kind of meeting agenda. On the next tuesday, april 8, I want to have a slightly different agenda, but it doesn't allow me to change it, so I am forced to have the same agenda each week. (this may be a bug or may have been done purposefully)

I eventually stopped using the recurring event option because of the apparent inflexibility of it.

Yes, I missunderstood your problem.

It seems to me as if this is kind of a feature in com_events, not a bug. Or maybe lets better say the feature to change your agenda hasnt been implimented.

Concerning my problem I coded a own subscript by myself...
