I wounder if somebody know if there is a component or a module for mambo 4.5 which display a text every day. I would like to have a components/module which got a textscript, which show one text each day. Not like the module "message of the day" because it shows differet things when I update the website. I wont just like this module but it most update every day automatically. Any idea?
You don't need any new module to do that because you can do it with the newsflash component setting the various news to appear in a certain day and then expire.

You could try to use the Newsflash Module and only have that one entry in there so the random selection will only be the one entry. And you can just go back in and edit it to change the text.
I took the message of the day and used it but deleted all the messages it would select from and only had one. If I want to change the message I go back and edit that one file.
