I made an upgrade for 4.5 1.0.7, everything was working fine. Three weeks later, i installed the safe mode patch and..... my front page is down. Everything is working, but the front page isnt.

What can i do?

What do you mean " my front page is down?" do you mean that you do not see a frontpage or ? Any error messages? Few questions which might help you though. If you go to admin > component:: do you see the frontpage component and if yes can you access the frontpage-component?

Can you see any items if you go to component>frontpage>frontpage items and are they published and not checked out?

Next why did you install the safe mode patch since you said that everything worked fine? Did you had problems with uploading components? If not (you said it worked fine) remove the safe mode patch. You do not have to use the safe mode patch if safe mode is set "on" at your hosting provider. My safe mode is also set "On" but I can upload components etc without the safe mode patch. The need depends on the provider settings. So if you had no problems before with uploading remove the safe mode patch.

next: since you made the big mistake of not making a back-up of your files as you wrote on foum.mamboserver.com you can delete and re-install mambo easy isn't it?

Hi, Speedy. The thing is: my frontpage only shows the left collum and the top of the site. The content is blank.

I decided to use de safemode because i was not able to upload components. I am reinstalling Mambo now and see what will happen.
