Default What is the best newsletter component?

I know of Yanc and ML Newsletter. I have used neither. I need a sign up module to go along with it. I am very interested to hear your opinions and experiences regarding these. Are there others available as well? These are the only two I remember hearing about (OS...that is.) Thanks in advance.

I couldn't get yanc to let people signup or send newsletters, but that was a few versions ago. It did install smoothly though

Well...as long as it installs easily...I might be able to overlook everything else!

I use YaNC. The new version is a great upgrade. But the Module YaNC is for the older version. We have to wait for visualdensity upgrade the Module too.

Hi,
I use Yanc to. It is easy to install and to manage.

The only thing I would like to change ist the desk of subscribed users in the admin. It would be nice to have not more than 50 on one page.

Has anybody an idea how to make this possible?
cu

I know this isn't exactly immediately helpful... but Phil Taylor announced a while back that he was working on integrating ListMessenger into Mambo. Haven't seen anything about that recently though (actually, haven't seen any posts anywhere from Phil recently at all).

I saw that too...but looking for OS solutions. Now that you mention it, though, I also remember some talk about phplist...does anyone have any information about it?

@jomaco1
Have a look at this and all your problems are gone

Use YANC with this module for the new version and it's great!

Hi...

I've just updated the YancSubscribe module to work with Yanc 1.2 plus a few other features that was requested. Please refer to the following thread:
