Default itemids are misssing on content_blog_section links

Hello, I have more than one content_blog_section and content_blog_category menu links to different sections and categories on my site.

One one of the content_blog_section pages, all of the itemids are missing on the end of the links that appear on that page.

This seemd to be completely arbitrary and out of the blue, especially since links are working correctly on other sections and category pages.

Anyone seen this before?

Are you using an older version of Mambo? I believe this bug was fixed in 4.5 Stable 1.0.3

I am using MSAS 4.5 1.0.7. Do you know what file was edited for the patch so I can take a look?

Hi, everyone. This problem has crept up for me again this week out of the blue, now that I'm creating new sections/categories on my site. This is really frustrating... I don't think it's supposed to be happening.

Do you have any thoughts or could you point me in the right direction?

Thanks for any help.

Did u read Saka's explanation over at mamboserver?

Quote:
You have to make sure that the Section that this Item belongs to is published inside the main menu!
Itemid can not be rendered if section (not blog section but the section) is properly published in the menu.

This is because Itemid is taken from the main menu. If it's not there it can't be retrieved.
