Images Dissapearing in News/Content Items !

Hi guys.
I'm having an strange problem.
I add a news item, then i add a {mosimage}, then i go to images and select 1 image and press insert, then i define its alt, border, etc. and then I press preview, the text & image shows great !... but:
when i publish the news item, the image is not shown @ frontpage neither in its own section ...

And when i edit that news item again... the inserted image(s) before aren't there anymore !! they go away !!...

any ideas? I'm also getting a little JavaScript error at administrator/index2.php at line 309, but i opened it and it has only 255 lines.
The error is: "String constant not finished"

Any ideas?

what about saving before publishing

I mean: you write text, select images, add mosimage, save and at last publish. It's an idea...

i got a tip from a friend and worked.
Edit news & content items in frontend, not administrator.
I added the images in the frontend, and saved, and it worked.
Then, if i edit that item in administrator, the images are erased again.
Don't know if it is my problem (i suspect so) or mambo problem, but well... I'll do this, and will see if problem persists when i upgrade to final 4.5.1 mambo release
