Mambo 4.5 Stable (1.0.7) - Admin Login problem

I am having the worst time of my life installing Mambo. I can't believe others have not had a problem. I basically had to do a manual install via unix. Now that I'm at the admin screen I can log into my new site?

I've changed the 'admin' password and 'admin' e-mail address. I've also created a new user. Any one have any suggestions of a fix?

Have you checked if you deleted the # (comment) from the sql file. It is at the bottom where the users are located. I would try and see if that's the problem and if it is go into phpMYadmin and then just drop and add the new tables.
