Default Experience with Google Indexing of Mambo Sites

Hello Mambo,

After I upgraded our site to Mambo OS 4.5.1. I recognized that Google does indexing of our site only to a small percentage of available content. What are your experiences how many of your content pages are listet within google ?

While building the site I considered the following:

- SEF URL with URL Re-writing
- Update and Inclusion of titledate.php so each page, category, section has its own meta tags

Unfortunately there are still the following traps in the current version of Mambo CMS:

- table design
- XHTML 1.0 code is sometimes not clear when checking with XHTML validator

Which methods do you apply to extend Google indexing of your site ?

May be the Web Server of the hosting service is too slow ?

May be the dynamic pages are to slow when building up ?

Which directories should not be excluded in the robots.txt ?

Any experience ?

May be you take some time to evaluate the page (german language)

Hoping for answers.
