Question ADMIN Login Problem - help please

Hi,

I am using mambo 4.5.1 - latest version. and php-shop latest version.
Currently I am building my shop and until today I have not experienced any problems with admin login.

However today, something is wrong with the admin login (which I have not changed anything - I have not installed any module or component. I just keep adding products)

When I login to mambo as admin - from the component menu I choose php-shop and boom it asks me to login as admin again. OK!!! I login again as admin... I am in where I starterd. Admin menu
Now I click on php-shop from components menu to go to my shop so I can add more products...(more more more more... )

Now I am in the php-shop, so I click add products....page never loads... At this point I cleaned the cache and cookies. Still same problem...

Any ideas? Appreciate your help and time...

What OS are you using? The php.ini location depends on the OS you are working on.
Windows: C:\WINDOWS\php.ini
Linux: /etc/php.ini
MAC: ?
Hope this helps...

Question Re: ADMIN Login Problem - help please

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

First of all, I am using WINDOWS and I do not have php.ini in any folder.

However It is the same with every pc I have.. I can't add products. IF I see the product list - and click on NEW (to add a product) page never loads...

So frustrating because I have not changed anything. Suddenly this problem...I have read other posts with the same issue... No one has really a decent solution...

There is a problem here and I wish someone could look into it... So people will stick with mambo and php-shop...

Don't get me wrong here... I would use mambo for a regular site but mambo+php-shop VERY strong combination and it ADDS value...

And...I am telling you guys... Houston we have a problem...

Hope someone knows what to do...

Thanks..

You MUST have a php.ini to control your PHP settings, otherwise you'll have errors everywhere.

Thumbs up Re: ADMIN Login Problem - help please - UPDATE

Hi,

Again, I do not have php.ini...however, the problem is solved by itself.

After searching every possible forum, I have come across some posts stating the same issue and same solution where the problem is fixed by itself. It is mentioned that it is web hosting related problem - that it happens when your web hosting updates/changes the .htaccess and/or folder access permissions.

Thanks...
