hi everybody, i recently installed mambo and i am very pleased with it,
i want to make some extra changes to the code, so that it perfectly suits my needs but i have some questions with some things i don't find (i am not a programmer but managed to edit some things, with trial and error method )

- i have allow rating on, now it displays this rating on the frontpage with my news items in "short text mode" i want to delete them here, and when people click on read more for the full text then they have the option to rate the article. secondly i want to display it underneath my full text, now it's just under the title. but i figure if i can display them underneath the full text, then they wont also appear on the frontpage too

- what code do i have to cut and especially where to paste it? i want the print, mail and pdf buttons also underneath the full text, now they appear right of my title

- when i click on my menu news, i get a listing of all my categories and when i click on them, it displays my news items. also 2 questions here:
can i delete the category step? i only have 1 category called news so people have to click on it and then they see the news post, i want to delete the first step, so when people click on news in the menu, they instantly get my news titles with their links to the full article. secondly they appear now in descending date order, i want it to be ascending so that the newest news items appears on the top (just like on my frontpage)

- where can i change the layout of the pagebreaks, they are now exactly under my text but i want to add a simple <br> tag to it

any help with one (or all ) of the questions, is highly appreciated! thx
