Hello.
I have found this several times in different posts, but none has a real absolute answer.

I have a flash banner and I would like it to play once when the user first enters the site. But whenever one goes to another section - or does a refresh - I want the banner to go and stop to the final frame, so the user doesn't have to go through the whole animation.

I have tried several posts, and even the MamboSolutions tutorial code (even downloaded the .fla to check) and NOTHING.
I have searched a lot of forums and websites, and the banner still repeats after refreshes.

Another question: will this work in all cms? Just in case I migrate to another in the future (don't think so, Mambo is quite easy).

Full actionscript or php code would be greatly apprecciated, as many of the people inquiring for this (including me) aren't too good at coding.

well i assume you know how to implement the flash banner into the website. just setup the banner to not loop. Thats all there is to it, then just put it on your page. You do have that option right?

Or setup your site in frames (kinda old and dumb) where your banner is in the top frame that doesn't reload. then i can't really help you much anymore. as the last time i did a site in frames was a VERY long time ago, but... there is a post around here when you can setup a start page, make that your front page, then have it move to a frame with the mambo site underneath that.
