I've had a look around and couldn't find the answer to my question, but I do apologise if it's already out there. I wanted to place an affiliate banner rotation code to use as the main banner. I have used the standard banner and also installed an artbanner component, but in each case I have to specify a banner image from within Mambo. Even though it has got an area for custom banner code which seems redundant because you can't save without specifiying a banner image. But I want to use html code which specifies where the banner is and what happens when it is clicked on. Does anyone know of any addons where I can use this?

Hi Ana,
I haven't played too much with banners, so maybe someone else can be more helpful. What I saw is that you manage the banners with the component and the rotation with the module. The module is customizable, not too much but gives you some space to play. And you can make copies of the module if you want different banners with different options.

If you have a script for rotation that you want to use, you can put it in a custom module or in a content item. It is better if you use the Non WYSIWYG Editor.
