random images in more than one module

how can I put random images in more than one module, basically duplicate the random image module like 3 times but have each module pull images from a different folder so they never have the same pictures. If this isn't possible, is there a way to display a module with only a picture in it?

Perform a COPY of the module three times.
Then name each one accordingly and set the parameters to point to the different folders.

thanks alot! I have one more question, is there a way to have a specific module not have a header? or to have a different header than all the others?

another question: Is there a way to do random webcams? Something like a mod that you can plug in several different webcam links and it loads a different one everytime the page loads.

header as in title?
You can turn it on/off in the "edit module" screen under "Show title"

If you mean header as in "graphic" it might depend on the template. some templates have headers for the modules hard coded. Post a link and we can let you know for sure if you are unsure about it

There is a way... there is always a way... but I don't know it. I tried a while back to help another mamber do just this... couldn't get it.

how would I do that? I know you have to edit (or i think) the content.html.php file in the components/com_content/ folder but the file is confusing to me.

well here is where I have to bow out for a more experienced CORE FILE hacker.. Never really hacked the mambo files nor am I a php expert... I have successfully found other ways to manipulate mambo without hacking core files (this can create havoc when updating!) but the update you are searching seems like a core hack... sorry
