Hi there.

Is it possible to declare the width/height values of the random image thumbnail in percentage(%) value?

In the parameters of the module you can only set the constant pixel values. But since my pictures aren't the same proportions, this sometimes streches or shrinks the image.

Another question; is it possible for the random image module to scan multiple folders and/or subfolders?

I've heard of the Zoom-gallerys own random image module(?). Is it better than the basic one which comes with the Mambo installation? What are the basic differencies between these two?

Any help in solving these problems is highly appreciated.

If you're comfortable hacking the module, have it only set the width of the image, not the height. That way the browser will render the thumbnail while preserving the aspect ratio of the original image.

Thanks xiaan. That was exactly the thing I was looking for.

But how can you set the link to go to that particular image in your gallery?
I can only link it to the first page.
