Question Zoom Gallery settings

I've installed Zoom gallery but since there seems to be no documentation available I am confused with the configuration.

I would like to allow user uploads, but I can only seem to have permission for users to upload photos if they can also edit the gallery. I don't want users to be messing around with any of the gallery settings so I put "no" for users to edit the gallery. But when logged in as a regular user and I click on the Media Manager button I get this message:

"Error: You'll have to be logged in as admin or user/ editor to view this page, or you're rights are limited!"

I have no problem when logged in as admin, I've looked over the settings but can't find out how to allow user uploads but disallow users to edit the gallery settings. I'm using 2.5 beta2

Hey Pete,
Check out the JPG I have attached. I think it should explain the situation quite nicely. I hope it helps!!
---First Set the access - such as what I have outlined below. (you must be at least REGISTERED to be able to upload)
Oh, almost forgot, when the admin creates the gallery, he/she MUST make it shareable".
1. User logs in and clicks on USER SYSTEM from the Gallery page
2. Click on the "upload files" link (you can also get here through the USER MENU)
3. Click on multiple files (or you can use other methods if you want) and then choose a gallery - NOTE: the gallery should be created by an admin unless you choose to allow access for a user to create a gallery but keep in mind that if a user creates a gallery, they can also delete it)
4. Notice that only the images this user uploaded will be able to be edited and deleted. Other user images are not available for editing.

Thanks for the reply, this is what I had the settings as so it must be a bug. I've got 2.1.4 RC3 installed and I can now upload photos as a user. I can't upload using the drag'n drop, I'm too tired to check out this problem for now.

I have to vent some frustration with the apparent lack of options with Mambo photo galleries. I really do appreciate all the effort that goes into every aspect of Mambo development, but it's disappointing with Mambo at this stage of development that galleries are lacking both features and reliability.

It's okay to vent occassionally

The galleries seem to work fine for me.. even the drag and drop but I had to work with other java applications and as a result, I have to reinstall java webstart et al. Drag and Drop seems to work for me but I remember a time not too long ago, it did not work. Try uninstalling Java completely and reinstalling it.
