Forum News Feed Showing Admin (Hidden Forum) Threads On VBulletin->Mambo News Feed

I'm using vBulletin 3.0.7 with Mambo 4.5.2 and on the front page I have a news feed from the forum. Only problem is that it's displaying links to the hidden forums (for Administrators to discuss issues). Although the "Register User"s can't access the post, it would make it look a lot neater and professional if they couldn't see this.

maybe you want to use JavaScript instead of RSS:

external.php?type=js&forumids=1,2,3

There is a module available showing last topics of vBulletin via this method

I'll try this module method before using javascript, but thankyou!

Using the "Recent Forum Posts" module, is there any way I can enter parameters to display all but 8 (Category) and 9 (Actual Forum) or allow all 1-8.

I've tried entering:
forumids=1
to see if it only brings up "General" posts, no luck.

also tried:
$forumids=1
(php var) and no luck yet.
