Frontpage and Items number

Hello is possible that in mambo 4.5.2 i can't edit the number of Items to publish on the frontpage? It publish just 4 news and then show the link for the next page. I have search on the forum but seams that the problem isn't resolved.
Can anyone help me?

Since 4.5.1, some of the frontpage stuff was moved. The Frontpage "Manager" is on the admin's left panel as an icon when you first get logged into the backend. It's also available from the "Home" admin menu item, to recall that same page from any other.

As for setting the # and placement of front page items... Go to: Menu Manager > Main Menu > Home > parameters.
