Default How to add the editor in a new component

Here is a newbe question:

I've created a new component for mambo. The component creates new content based on data collected from a form. This all is working just fine.

Now I now would like to add the default editor to the componenet I created, so that the form will include the editor. The text of the editor will should saved to a file on the server.

I could not find any documentation anywhere on adding the editor to a new component. any help would be appriciated.

Thanks, Avi

This sounds great ! I've been looking for such functionality since a few months now. Even posted the quesion on the facileforms site but yet no working solution.

I want to use this functionality because the visitors of my website are all kids and i think the editors are too complicated for them.
Is there a possibility to make use your component ?

regards,
Daan

errrr. I would be happy to make the component available, but I doubt you will be able to use it:

1. It's in hebrew, for right-to-left. sure it can be modified, but it will take more time than to just write anew one.

2. It's a bit more than just a form. I did not want to confuse the readers, but it is actualy a system for uploading legal documents (laws and court cases). So it collects data from a dosen or so tables (judges names, court name, publication, etc.) I now need to upload the case itself. Hense the editor.

In any case, you more than welcome to browse for yourself: httP://www.constitution.org.il

hmm, learning hebrew is slightly more complicated than learning to make my own component ...i think.

Maybe if you have time one of these days you can make a simplified version for the community. I'm sure it will be more than welcome.
