Changing the # of frontpage items...

What happened to the parameters in the frontpage module from 4.5.0 in 4.5.1? I'd like to change the number of headlines and number of frontpage content items, and I've looked almost everywhere (obviously :-)...

Hi.-

Mark the item in your menu

See the options in the parameters tab

Set it as your concern

Save

I visited the "All Contents".. looked in the parameters for one of the items, nothign that seemed obvious. I've visited the Frontpage Manager in the Control Panel, don't see anything obvious.

And further, where did the options go to control the layout of the news on the homepage? Right now I've got one main item up top, two columns in the middle, and links to older content at the bottom. I'm wondering where the change options for all this went.. It was so easy in 4.5.0.

Man the parameters to show what you want now are set in the menu

You go to the menu

In the menu yo select the item/category/content/

See the parameters label when you edit it

Set the new parameters

For me work fine this way

It took me for a while to find it, but here is a explanation for new users

At backend page of Mambo 4.5.1a
Go to Top Pull Down Menu ( Home / Site / Menu / Content / ....)

Mouse over Menu

Click on Main Menu (If you renamed it or using different language pack , it can be different)
At the menu manager Click on Main Menu if you chenged the name look for Component - FrontPage under type column
Click on Main Menu link
It should open Edit Menu Item :: Component page
You have two tabs Details and Parameters
Click on Parameters
Play with Leading / Intro / Columns / Links
