Default Problem adding more menus?

I am having trouble adding two new menus to my website. I am useing 4.5.1 and login to the admin area and goto Menu manager and create the menus with the links I want in there and nothing ever shows up on the clients side. I even coppied the orginal menus that are preinstalled. What should I do?

Trying to explain the "publishing module" concept...

After you create the menu in the Menu Manager and the links you want there, you need to go to the "Site Modules" under "Modules" and Publish the module with the name of the menu you just created in a section that exists in your template ("left" is usually the default option).
