Help! I killed tinymce

I tried seeing what tinymce improved was like but it wouldn't install saying there was already a tinymce (the default version). I thought this new version was an upgrade so I deleted the default tinymce and installed tinymce improved instead. The trouble is it didn't work so I uninstalled it but now I don't know how to get the default tinymce reinstalled.

I tried copying the tinymce folder, tinymce.php & tinymce.xml files from another site running with the default version but it doesn't show in configuration file to select as editor.

Please how can I get tinymce back?

Execute this from your phpmyadmin. Hope this helps.

I now have Tinymce showing as a choice again and it appears to work okay. One thing though when I browsed through the other mos mambots entries I had ID's ranging from 1 to 14 and noticing that the ID is set to auto increment I chose to enter 15 for Tinymce ID rather than 17 as you suggested.

Perhaps this difference is due to you and me having a different number of mambots installed. Could you or someone else clarify whether my logic was right. I'd like to know before I stuff up something if I am wrong.

Hi

Each mambot installed after your first instalation has the exact ID number in you mysql base, but after that even if you deinstall them, You can place INSERT INTO sequence responsible for mambotbots activity in your stuff. You can of cource install it from the beginning via you Admin Panel, or using phpmyadmin insterting the sequence of of code like above mentioned by mr twysm. It is not important what kind of ID you place there, the important thing is that you do not duplicte the existing ones :-)

You may want to scrap tinymce all together because it's outdated. Get the newer version at mamboforge.net, there's a new name for it : Mosce.
