Order items from frontend doesnt work

Hi mambers,

i cannot change any content items ordering from the frontend in my categories, although there is the option to do this. But doesnt do anything.

I want to do my publishers and editors that from "Publishing" in the editmode in the frontend, i tried all the possibilities, ("0-first","3 last"). Menutype is "Blog categroy".

Edit:
I tried everything from the menumangers parameters, Primary order: "ordering", alphabetical", "most recent",... --> has absolutely no effect to the frontend output. In the backend the items seem to be ordered correctly according to the settings i made.

Anybody same problem? Any solutions?

Try this.
In the backend set the menu item parameters Primary Order: Ordering
Now retry in the frontend.

Thanx for your replay.

Tried everything, didnt seem to work. I reinstalled content.php and now it does, but the frontend submit hack, doesnt work anymore.
So now I'm trying to rewrite it a little bit in the hope that both features can work under 4.5.1a.
