Default hiding source code

I want to hide my source code from others who use their browser view>source to look at ones code.

How do I do this? Thank you!

Some browsers allow that. Many others not.
So, in fact it is impossible to have a 100% generic solution.

Not that you have to worry to much about that. They will only see parsed HTML code, not PHP code.

MSIE, but since it is not a generic solution, I will not go for that. To my opinion, forget it and have to live with what jure posted!

I am using MSIE and can see code on some sites and not on others, like most of the mambo developers personal sites. Like this for example, http://www.stingrey.biz/. So, I know there is something these people are doing.

What have these people done in their source to prevent users from viewing source code?

Thank you

I saw the code I am using FireFox 1.0 and IE 6.xx in both i m able to see the source of the said site. Maybe I am not able to figure out what you exactly are looking for.

If you are trying that visitors wont be able to see the coding, i.e, the PHP one, that might be possible in 90% cases, as the person only sees what browser translate the code into html (or whatever is asked it to do).

so in most cases you just see the "translated html code" when viewing the source of any page. Try viewing the source of this very page and u will understand what i am trying to tell you.

sounds interesting. point to be noted for newbies You have to encrypt the code and paste it back to the actually page's source.
