Default Direct URL for Login

I need to add a link on the menu 1 bar that will link directly to the log in. I already know how to add a url so that is not necessary to explain. What I need explained is what the direct url is for the login module. I need to prevent outside users from registering on the website. The standard log in module says (create new account) and i don't desire that to be there.

What I want:
This is an example of how in version 4.5 you click on a link in the main menu that says staff log in which directs them to this page. >
http://www.sportsworxsd.com/index.php?option=com_login
When linking directly to the login page it ommits the (create new account option) therefore eliminating my concerns for outside users registering.

My Problem:
When applying this same url to a website which is running MOS 4.5.1a (http://www.sponderworks.com/index.php?option=com_login) it says you are not authorized to use this resource. I've ensured that all options were pointing to yes on the admin side that allows users to log in or register, etc.

Someone please help Thanks so much

Hi charQuasi,
... sorry for your inconvenience... the german part of the thread is the question. Please read the last two messages in the posted thread. They give you the supposed answer ... and they are in english ;-)
Sincerely, Joern.

Hi Joern,
That worked out beautifully, THANK YOU!

But it won't let me set a redirect...

If you don't want users to register themselves, why not just edit configuration.php and change

$mosConfig_allowUserRegistration = '1';

to

$mosConfig_allowUserRegistration = '0';

This will also remove the "Create a new account" link. You can then use the mambo admin backend to add users when required.
