Default Link to a DOCMan file

I need use DOCMan to link to, and list files uploaded into DOCMan

I thought mosdmlink and mosdmlist would work but they won't upload, it says there is an XML error.

So, I asked the writer of mosdmlink why this was happening and he emailed another version which he called kl_docmanlink

The syntac SHOULD be {kl_docmanlink}file{/kl_docmanlink} I think

But, whilst the mambot actually uploaded this time, absolutely nothing happens!

So, am I going about this the right way, or what IS the best way to link and list files in DOCMan. Without this I fail to see why DOCMan is useful!

I'm using 4.5.1

Regards

Chris Dark

so if i understand correctly, no link is generated by the mosbot - is this so?

if the install doesn't work, you could also try to upload the original mosbot-files manually, probably that "magically" helps;
good luck

just to be sure: you did publish docman as a menue item, did you? then you get the DOCMAN menue and can use it as it is; administration per backend or frontend;
the mosbots are only for putting links to DOCMAN categories/ files into content items;

can't say anything about version 451 and DOCMAN - haven't tried the bots on it yet.
