Simpleboard: How to show a single forum category?

Using the possibility of many mambo components to only show a part of it's data I have my site more or less divided in three sections. Each section has it's own menus.
When I click on the "events" link in section A I get only section A events. The same goes for news and weblinks.

I want to do the same with simpleboard. I created three catagories A,B and C and several forums per category. Now I want to define a link to section A so that only the forums under category A are shown.

Is this possible ?

Any suggstions for a hack to make it possible?

When you navigate to the ULTIMATE section and select Forum you will see three main Forum sections. "Algemeen", "Ultimate Frisbee" and "Discgolf".

What I want is to show only "Ultimate frisbee" in the context of Ultimate and only the "Discgolf" forum in the context of Discgolf.

You can do exactly what you want with LoudMouth, but im not sure if it can be done with SimpleBoard.
