Default Installing Mambo at Root folder

Hello,

Will someone let me know how can I install Mambo at the root directory of a domain in my server?. I mean not to use an intemedia database:

http://www.perantivirus.com/ezine/

I would like Mambo to have the index.php at:

http://www.perantivirus.com

I will appreciate you to give some tips.

Regards,

Hi,

you need to upload your mambo files to the root (so that you see modules, components, administrator, .... folders in your root) and the point your browser to http://www.perantivirus.com/index.php.

Make sure you backup your current site before as there already is a site running in your root. Best would be to remove it before.

You could also redirect your root to your mambo site using a simple index.htm in your root with this line in the header
Code:
<META http-equiv="refresh" content="5; URL=http://www.perantivirus.com/ezine/">
HTH,

Chris

In fact you want to MOVE your installation from ezine to root? If so look at my first post I edited it while you answered.
