RedCross How to create a paid registration form for an event?

Greetings from the deep south, fellow Mambers!

I am running 4.5.1a and am trying to create a registration form for an event that requires payment to attend.

Any ideas on how to do this?

I have Facile Forms installed. And was thinking that maybe a Mambo-phpShop could get it done.

Requirements:
Add the total cost from certain fields (such as cost for a member to attend + cost of how many t-shirts he orders + cost for his guests + cost for dinner = total cost). The member would then check out with either PayPal, or print his order and send in a check or MO. The registration records are sent in an email to the secretary and/or tracked on the Mambo backend.

Here is a link from last year's form. It got the job done, but it really was sloppy. I am hoping to use Mambo to improve upon things a bit...

Registration

This maybe a simple thing I am looking for, I just don't know.

Any help from you folks would be greatly appreciated.

I guess Phil Taylor's http://www.phil-taylor.com/ phil a form can do it. A few threads at mamboserver discuss setting it up.

I need to do the same thing in a more automated way.

I want users to pay to use my systme, schedule their own events, put in their own paypal account, then take registrations through the site using their paypal.
