I have just installed Mambo 4.5.1 sucessfully on a test web and tried to add the Menalto gallery for Mambo. The installation was sucessful so far. The only problem I have is the 'full path to the gallery' in the configuration. What path is ment? the path to the images (/images/xxx...) or the path to the admin php-files in /administrator/components/...

I just installed the component supplies on the Mambo Download site and went to the configuration. Is there anything else I have to do since I only get a blank box when I try to run the component via the menu?

In addition to installing the mambo gallery component, you have to install the complete Gallery package in its own directory. Then the full path to the gallery is the path to the directory containing Gallery. Here's an example:

Gallery is installed in /var/www/htdocs/gallery
Mambo is installed in /var/www/htdocs/mambo

So, full path to gallery parameter value in Mambo gallery component is /var/www/htdocs/gallery
