Control Order of articles in category list display

I have a link in the menu on my Mambo 4.5.1a website that does a list section. If you click the link to a category from this section it shows the articles within displayed in chronological order. I would like to control that order as in this case it is pages of info and contact options. I can't seem to find how to control this order? For the front page of the site I have it showing items chronologically as I desire, but in this area I would like it to be different. When I click on the reorder within the content items they move in the list but have no impact on their listing for me on the front end of the site. I am sure I am missing something simple here.

Go to Menu -> Main Menu -> Your List Section -> Parameters -> Order by and select ordering.
