Default HTML tags in page title

Hi again,
one more question for the experts: when I put a HTML tag (e.g. <b>Welcome</b>) in the title of a content item, it displays bold everywhere, in menus, within the page, etc. - fine. But in the title of the browser window, the HTML tags show up and it doesn't look so nice... does anyone know the place where to put the PHP command strip_tags() to get them out? I've looked around, but Mambo is a pretty big package.

Any hints appreciated,
Doc
