Contacts the email address is now showing by default

In Contacts the email address is now showing by default, in 4.5(1.0.9) it did not display. How can I get the email address not to show. Would I need to create the contact as a user so that the email details could be accessed but not shown

In the latest CVS, I've added some Javascript spoofing that will hopefully mean spam bots cant pull the email if you wish to have it visible.

Will we have the option not to make it viewable?
In fact, would be nice to have a tick-box next to each field "Viewable - Yes/no" if not too much trouble.

On the same component, a short while ago I had also put in the wish list to let people have the option of sending a copy of the message to themselves.

Yes it will be a parameter option.

Yeah I remember reading that, though I had forgotten until you reminded me, I think its a good option.
But knowing me I'll forgot again, before I start work on that area again - who knows if your lucky I might remember, depends on how hectic things get.

I see this 'hide' option did not make it into RC4.

Can the form be setup to still send messages to main admin email address if I leave this field blank for now?

Extended functionality and Params for Contact Component have been committed to the Latest CVS - should be demoable on the demoserver in an hour or so.

Looked on demo site, but cannot see the options/functionality anywhere.

No its done, demoserver simply hasnt updated to latest CVS,

Well if a feature requests make sense and doesnt require too much work to implement, than I see why it shouldnt be actioned - and your idea made a lot of sense.

So give yourself a pat on the back for making an excellent suggestion

As I said, so long as it makes sense, isnt too much work and doesnt require massive reengineering - than wishes can come true
