RedCross Search doesn't find anything

Hi all,

On two of my mambo websites I have the problem that the search module as well as the search component doesn't find anything on my site. I checked that the search-mambots are published as well as checked the module and component settings. Looks all good to me but obviously not for mambo.

Does anybody have an idea why mambo doesn't find anything? The search result in an empty "Total 0 results found". These sites are www.idev.ch and www.baraabau.com. Publishing the menuitem for the search component doesn't make any difference - I already tried that.

I am thankfull for every little hint.

Cheers,
Marc

I have a strange feeling that all of your items are sections or categories. Mambo's search apparently ONLY searches content items ... I too just discovered this problem tonight.

I did find this link here...not sure if it solves this problem..... Yet.

But I'll keep looking.

hi cat,

thanks a lot for your answer.

i have a lot of content items sorted in different categories/sections as well as quite some static content items besides all the component stuff. so i think mambo really should find things at its own. have a look at http://www.idev.ch .

i am just thinking if mambo have a keyword-table in the database which may got currupted somehow. have to check this.

cheers,
marc
